Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of this store and anything you buy from it. Placing an order means you accept them. We've kept them in plain English where we can. The boring parts are boring because they have to be.

1. Who we are

2. What we sell

One product: an analog twin-bell alarm clock. We describe it as accurately as we can, and we'd rather say nothing than say something we haven't checked. Screens vary, so we can't guarantee your monitor's version of mint green matches ours.

We don't make health claims. We're an alarm clock company, not a medical one. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing here should be read as a promise about how you or anyone in your house will sleep.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax. Any tax that applies is calculated and added at checkout, before you pay.

We accept every payment method shown at checkout. Whichever you use, payment is taken at the time you order.

We can change prices at any time before you order. If something is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a typo or a system error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. We'll email you about it rather than just go quiet.

4. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order — if the item is out of stock, if payment fails, if the billing details don't check out, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel, you get a full refund.

Need to cancel? Email us before it ships and we'll do our best. Once it's with the carrier, use the return window instead.

5. Shipping

We ship within the United States only. Shipping is free. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days before dispatch. Full details, including delivery estimates, are in our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns and refunds

You have 30 days from delivery to send it back, for any reason at all. You don't have to explain yourself and we won't ask you to. You cover return postage. Full details are in our Return and Refund Policy.

7. Warranty and disclaimers

We don't offer a separate warranty beyond the 30-day return window described above. Within those 30 days, you can send it back for any reason. If it arrives faulty or damaged, we'll replace it at our cost — see our Return and Refund Policy.

Beyond that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the store and the product are provided "as is". We don't warrant that this site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited. Some states don't allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected to an order is limited to what you paid for that order. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including, and we say this entirely without irony, oversleeping.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use this site to break the law, scrape it, hammer it with bots, or upload anything malicious.

10. Intellectual property

The Hush & Ring name, our copy, our photography and our site design belong to us. Please don't republish them as your own.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute goes to the courts located in the State of Tennessee.

12. Changes to these terms

We can update these terms. Whichever version is live on this page when you order is the version that applies to your order.
